David Prest has lived and practiced Architecture in the greater Palm Springs area for more than 40 years.
He has been responsible for the design of many successful and award winning commercial and residential projects.
Dave holds a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from the University of Arizona, where he was a 3 time All-Conference Baseball player.
Dave believes that each project he takes on is unique with its own set of specific and unique problems and opportunities. From taking full advantage of the site, to meeting or exceeding the expectations of the client; Dave ensures that the final result is accomplished through a high level of creativity and professionalism.
He and his wife Michaeleen have 3 children.
John Vuksic received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California in 1985. He received his Architect’s license in 1988 and has been practicing architecture in the Coachella Valley since 1989. Since that time, he has been involved in many organizations including AIA Desert Chapter (Past President), Palm Desert Chamber of Commerce (Past Board Member), Palm Desert Rotary Club, Desert United Soccer Club (Vice President), Palm Desert General Plan Committee, Palm Desert Art in Public Places Commission (ARC Liaison) and the Palm Desert Architectural Review Commission.
John’s main focus during the design process is to design a project that takes full advantage of the site, and has a layout that flows well. These are the most important elements in design and often require creative design solutions.
In both residential and commercial projects, John enjoys the interaction with the Owner as well as other team members. John’s favorite part of the process is to see the Owner’s vision transformed into an attractive and sophisticated design.
In his leisure time, John enjoys time spent with his wife, Leigh Ann, and their four children. He also enjoys playing soccer and hiking.
John graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2004. Upon graduating, he returned to his hometown of Palm Desert to work for Prest Vuksic Architects.
John is a Licensed Architect and after 13 years with the Firm, he became a Principal.
John manages the Healthcare division of the firm and is incredibily passionate about Healthcare design and sustainabilty. John specializes is OSHPD 1, 2 & 3
He is a Planning Commissioner for the City of Palm Desert and is very involved in his community.
John & his wife Heather have three beautiful children.
Chris graduated from Arizona State University in 1970. After obtaining his license in 1977, Chris founded Christopher S. Mills Architects in Palm Springs. Chris is a highly diversified architect, specializing in Medical, Educational, Office and Multi Family projects.
Chris sat on the City Council for the City of Palm Springs for 16 years as has been involved with the Coachella Valley Mountain Conservancy and the Coachella Valley Conservation Commission.
David Drake attended the University of Oregon and received a Bachelor of Architecture in 1977.
His career includes working with Skidmore Owings and Merrill. David also worked with highly recognized architect William Fletcher, known for cultivating Northwest Regional Style of architecture
He has a vast experience and is well versed in Health Care Architecture, Commercial, Residential, Religious and Community Architecture. In 1990, David was the principle designer and project manager for the UCDMC Cancer Center and received an American Institute of Interior Design award for his design efforts.
In 1999, David moved to the desert and joined Prest Vuksic Architects in 2000.
David’s favorite activities include cycling, golf and swimming.
